Department of Educational Science
Welcome to the pages of the Department of Educational Science at the University of Siegen.
The Department is currently supported by 20 professors, 98 scientific and 25 non-scientific staff members. We are located in the Adolf-Reichwein (AR) building complex, the majority of the department is located in the new building next to the university library (AR-NB).
Our current total of almost 7000 students are served in 19 different study programs, of which the educational science program for teachers of all school types and the social work program as well as the bachelor's program in Education: Development and Inclusion (BAStEI) especially demand our attention.
The Department is divided into two subject conferences: Educational Sciences, Social Pedagogy, and complementary to these, the BAStEI degree program conference.
